With Mother's Day approaching, I find myself wondering why we only have one day to be recognized? I think I will declare the month of May "ours" . One day really is not enough . With one day , there is way to much pressure to make everyone happy and somehow find the time to make ourselves happy.
I will look forward to the day with my kids, the homemade cards and the yummy breakfast they will make me.I will then remember that all the things that can create some of that stress and chaos , are the very things that make me a mom and the things I love so much! Every day is Mother's Day. We do all we do and we do it all so well!
I am not going to be able to see my mom on Mother's Day and I will miss her a little more than usual, but we will talk and maybe even Skype ! If you are lucky enough to have your mom with you on Mother's Day, give her an extra hug!
I wish each and every one of you a wonderful day and hope you find that moment to reflect on how incredible you are !
