I am week 2 of no exercise thanks to this out of commission back, I really don't have time for this, but it has been a not so gentle reminder that I need to listen to my body. Luckily, I can work from home and adapt my schedule to work for me! I have not done much for holiday prep yet, I think this will be the week to get moving. We did get our tree and decorate it. 2 days later, the tree was laying on the ground and we lost so many ornaments! It was a rough moment for me, but, I rallied, realized it could have been worse and started over! There is nothing like the smell of pine and the memories of the ornaments that bring you back to a certain place and moment. Do you have a favorite ornament that holds some really special memory? I will be sharing a review this week from a new local spot called Shore Dog Cafe, where this picture was taken. It is a great local family spot and they will be offering a special for our readers as well.
One of the things that continues to surprise me, week after week, year after year, is how many events there are for us to enjoy. As we get ready to publish, we always seem to find more! I really think we are lucky! Things to do for kids of all ages, including us! I hope you take some time to check it all out. Elf is headed to the Altria Theater tonite for a few days too!
