App Of The Week

Running - or walking, whatever works for you!

I have been "learning to run" and these apps have been getting to know me!
It has been on my goal list and  although I am not hoping to run a marathon or have record time in what I am doing, I am enjoying taking this adventure on.
I read the book, Dear Lilly, written by a friend of mine last summer and in it he talks of a Runner's High with such beauty that i wanted to experience it. 

I am enjoying the thrill of being outside, being alone and being able to get past my fears of thinking I cannot do it! 

All of these apps are on my phone and there are many more . I like these because they are simple, structured and allow my music to play as well as tracking my progress.

Get Running - your own trainer with a real voice- very simple and cool graphics! Allows you to set settings as well.

Coach to 5k-  Running at your own pace , you will walk and run, keep track of your progress and support you !

Joggy Coach- more of an app to track what you are doing including a calorie count , also updates you at 5 minute intervlas with your progress
