My favorite memory of the Circus is when I took my four year old son. It amazed me how his eyes just lit up when he saw everything. Immediately after the circus he ask me "how old do you have to be to join the circus?". "Can you be the president and be in the circus at the same time?". I loved it!

My favorite memory of the circus is watching the acrobats. I have always been fascinated with them, and as a kid it just seemed magical.

My mother used to tell me about taking me to the circus for the first time and I insisted on wearing a new white fur coat that my grandmother bought me and new boots. It was a rainy day and I came home covered in mud but had a great time. Watching my kids' faces the first time they saw the elephants was priceless.

Going to the circus was a "treat" for us and I just remember that Mom and Dad would always let us pick out one of those souvenir gadget things - I remember always being on the edge of my seat watching the circus. (And the smell...oh, the smell...)

I have been going to the circus at the Coliseum since I can remember. I remember going as a child and loving buying cotton candy. I remember getting a pair of tickets from my first boyfriend on Valentine's Day. I remember meeting an elephant caretaker when I worked at 6th Street Marketplace who invited me to meet some of the elephants under the venue before a performance. I remember taking my daughter for the first time, taking my son for his first time and loving being able to give them both the memories that I've had all my life!

I remember going to the circus with my parents way back when. I was always most entertained by the high flying trapeze acts. They make it look so easy and scary at the same time.

When I was about 5 years old, we went to the Ringling Bros. circus. We arrived very early (ill attribute that to my father) and my brother. & I were chosen as 2 of about 10 children to ride aboard a small train in the opening procession. I remember being sort of frightened, but also so excited to be right on the floor with all of the animals walking around the ring. I didn't attend the circus again until I was in my 20's, and I hope to take my children every year. It is truly the most amazing show on earth!

I have so many great memories of going to the circus when I was a child but my favorite circus memory is from last year. My son's best friend was moving across country so the day before she left, we let the kids play hooky from school and we took them to the circus. They had an amazing time!
