HI From Carissa!

Hello February! (Really?!)

Well this month flew by! Happy February all!  Who's ready for the Super Bpwl - or the Beyonce concert as my girls are calling it?
We celebrated our oldest turning 19 this week ,talk about time flying by- I feel like she was just in diapers. Ashley is one of those "kids" who has been "grown up " since birth but in an interesting turn, is now realizing life does not need to be rushed and that mommy really is right about oh so much!

We had Game Truck over the weekend for our son's birthday party and I just cannot say enough about how great Mr Joe is with the kids and what fun it is for all!

I also toured School of Rock with my hubby this week. My husband has played drums in band for over 30 years . School Of Rock opened last week in Short Pump- I am in love. What a concept- learning music and playing in a band with a concert at the end of it all! I really suggest checking this out if you have a child with any interest in music. Parker and Matt, the owners ,are bringing music, fun and learning to a whole new level! They even have adult nights on Monday- maybe my dream of being in a band can happen??

In our business directory we welcome Charming Characters ,a mobile party business and we are here to entertain children of all ages!! Our characters are trained professional actors/actresses that will provide your child an outstanding and charming performance!
They offer Princesses, Mermaids, Fairies, Superheroes, Pirates and much more! We do all types of special events and birthdays parties!

This week, we have  Ringling ticket giveaways and the start of Thunder National Tickets as well. Mommymaids Clean Team also has a 20% off coupon for all new clients, so be sure to tell them you are a Mac Kid if you call!
There are also some great articles and I have created a new Pinterest board for Groundhog day and Valentine's Day check it out! Pinterest Groundhog board, and Valentine's Day

I hope we see some Macaroni Faces  for The University Of Richmond's Spiders Game on  Saturday night, Feb 2. Macaroni Kid will be hosting !  See the article for all info .
I am excited to be attending the Richmond Kids Expo again this year, save the date, it will be a great day! February 23, 2013.

We would love to take our son! I enjoy the weekly calendar. When I am not working at the fire station, I like that I can find out what events are happening during the weekdays that I can enjoy with my son!

We'd love to take our kids to LEGO Fest. We have 5 young children (ages 5 to 10) so we don't get out much to do things. I know they would LOVE it! :)

Its funny how we all think life is going to be so easy once we grow-up and leave mom and dads. I hope your daughter tries to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. It's great to still be a kid at heart. Happy Birthday to both of your kids. I hope they have/had a wonderful birthday.
