Art for Children, Tweens & Teens
Preschool Art Adventures
Ages 3-5: Tuesdays 12:00-1:00 pm

Inspired by nature and by their favorite books, children explore paper maché, clay, watercolors, and tempera in a way that encourages the expression of each child's unique creativity while developing fine motor skills and observation skills.

Cartoon Drawing

Tweens and Teens Studio Art

Ballet & Chess
Ballet for Young Dancers
Ages 3-6: Tuesdays 3:30 - 4:30 pm

$464 / 29 weeks $45 costume fee
Elizabeth Diaz Krash is a former member of the Corps de Ballet of the American Ballet Theater. Children will learn the fundamentals of classical ballet and develop coordination, strength, and flexibility. Recital performance on May 16th. Classes begin October 7th and end May 12th.
Chess Classes
Ages 5+: Tuesday 6:00-7:00 pm

Robotics Workshops
Introduction to FLL Robotics
Ages 9+: Saturday, September 20

Cost: $35
Learn how to build and program robots using the LEGO NXT system. Students will learn basic robot engineering, programming principles, and the LEGO Mindstorms NXT Robotics Invention system. No previous experience required. Enrollment is limited to 12. Sign up soon !
Instructors Cheryl Kaplan & Ann Kutz - Mentors and Team Members of the Deep Run Robotics Team will lead this camp! Cheryl and Ann have coached award winning teams in Virginia/DC regional competitions.
Private Music Lessons
The Center for Creative Arts offers lessons for many popular instruments and voice. Music recitals are in December and June. Students may start private lessons at any time. Contact the office to see which days and times are available.
