Ranee, is the owner of Simplify Me, which is both an organizing and styling business. As organizer she will help you custom organize systems to help you take control of your surroundings, your time and your life! Whether it’s your closet, your pantry, office, garage, attic or other room she can help bring the calm back from chaos. As a stylist she can help you rework your wardrobe and closet, help you shop your own closet for what you should be wearing, take you shopping for more fabulous you and give you the makeover or confidence boost just in time for the holidays and picture taking season. She uses her expertise to enhance the lives of her clients; one outfit, one space and one appointment at a time.
With nearly 20 years of fashion experience in New York City (having worked at large, name-brand labels such as American Eagle Outfitters, Nautica, & Tommy Hilfiger) she sure does know the fashion world inside and out.
Now based in Richmond, VA she has the pulse of the River City on her mind. Whether it’s in the kitchen or craft room she will organize homes from top to bottom. When it comes to closets, she is in her element, working her magic with clients to identify their style, update their wardrobes and help them shop more effectively to better suit their current body type (do you have more than 2 sizes in your closet) and lifestyle (have you retired or given birth since the last full closet purge).
From Ranee: I am about recycling, hemming, reusing and reconstructing as well as trying something new. We always laugh at my appointments. We try not to take “our stuff” too seriously. You may have 10 spatulas and only 1 pair of shoes you like. I can help with that. I can turn those extra spatulas into shoes…Well, not exactly, but I can help remedy the imbalances and help remind you that a shirt is just a shirt and your kitchen is supposed to serve as a place where food is prepared and served.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, use me for an hour at a time, once a month or every week. We all have different needs and sometimes we are embarrassed by our spaces. I don’t judge; I help.

Together we will divide your wardrobe into;

We will try on the clothes that you specify you want to keep and come up with ways to get more looks out of each piece, find better solutions to fitting your current body type and make sure you are representing the image you think you are. If you have more than 2 sizes in your closet I will urge you to pick the garments that fit over the one that you wish did. I will ask you to try on different outfits and show you how to make style that will enhance your body and spirit. We will identify what your shopping needs are (if necessary) and re-organize your closet to make getting dressed easier. When I leave you should have space in your closet and feel like you just went shopping!
