“They make you get up and dance, tap into the goodnatured, communal spirit characteristic of salsa at its timeless best.” – Los Angeles Times
The two-time Grammy-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra is one of the most formidable and authentic Latin jazz bands today. The 13 world-class instrumentalists and vocalists of SHO brings music bursting with punching horn lines and spirited vocals straight from the barrio. Their raw, vintage sound is marked by fiery salsa mixed with moments of melodic balladry and represents the authenticity and tradition of Spanish Harlem. Generating a spontaneous, natural energy all their own, SHO doesn’t get any better than when its New York-style, hard-core salsa is heard live.
Dance will be an involuntary action so a dance floor will be provided.
