Have you ever seen a 7-year-old beam with pride after making their first sale? Or watched a group of kids confidently pitch their handmade creations to a crowd of smiling shoppers? That's the charm of the Richmond Children's Business Fair, making its return on Sunday, March 8, 2026!

This one-day, high energy event gives local youth ages 5–17 the chance to launch their very own businesses, set up shop, and share their passions with the community. Whether it’s slime kits, pet treats, jewelry, art, or baked goods, every booth tells a story, and every child walks away with a boost of confidence and a head full of new ideas.

🎉 Registration is NOW OPEN, and we’re opening 75 youthpreneur spaces. Don’t wait too long to sign up!

💰 Cost: $35 for one youth business, $60 for two

📍 Dewey Gottwald Center, 2401 West Leigh St., RVA 23230

This marketplace is a celebration of creativity, courage, and community. Kids learn real-world skills like budgeting, customer service, and marketing, all in a fun, supportive environment. And parents? You get front-row seats to watch your child shine.

We’re looking for local sponsors to help make this event truly unforgettable. Your support helps cover event costs, provide registration scholarships, and create a welcoming space for all families. Sponsorship perks include promotional shout-outs and the joy of investing in Richmond’s next generation of leaders.

So, whether your child is a budding baker, a slime scientist, or a jewelry designer in the making, this is their moment. Let’s cheer them on, lift them up, and show them what’s possible when a community comes together.

The 2026 Richmond Children's Business Fair is hosted by the Youth Business Exchange and The Metropolitan Business League, along with The Enough Foundation RVA, Papa Johns of Central Virginia and Macaroni KID Richmond.
