It's my favorite time of year again! The entire season from Thanksgiving until the New Year is my special time to spend with those that I love. One way we spend special time is going on our Tacky Light Tour!
We switch to the Christmas music station and let the festive tunes fill the air as we cruise around town. With cozy pajamas, delicious snacks, and cheerful melodies, the atmosphere feels truly magical. It’s like the world slows down, letting us fully soak in the holiday spirit.
To make it even more special, we usually split the adventure into three nights, exploring a different part of town each time. It’s the perfect way to enjoy all the dazzling displays without having to drive across the whole city at once.
Last year, we teamed up with local mom Erin to fill out her Tacky Lights of Richmond Map, helping families plan the ultimate Tacky Lights Tour and it was a huge success.
We’ve learned that she won’t be making a map this year, but we’re keeping Erin’s idea alive by creating a valuable holiday resource and ensuring others can enjoy the magic of the season, just like we do, by putting together the 2025 Tacky Lights of Richmond Map.
