Caroline Calouche & Co-Dance & Circus Shows that will entertain you

Performing 2 Days Only at the Dogtown Dance Theatre

 For the dance company’s 15th season and return to live shows, Caroline Calouche & Co. is excited to bring two family-friendly summer shows to the community. “Animalia” will take kids on an adventure across the globe to learn about different animals in a high-energy circus and dance show that runs 45 minutes with 15 minutes for question & answer. “Random Acts of Kindness” demonstrates their love for others by entertaining the audience with impressive skills in dance and circus arts and runs about 45 minutes with 15 minutes for question & answer. Both shows are sure to entertain and warm your heart!

“We’re thrilled to perform for the first time in Richmond this Summer!” says founder Caroline Calouche. “These two shows truly have something for everyone whether you enjoy the art forms or appreciate watching humans accomplish physical feats.”


Both shows, “Animalia” & “Random Acts of Kindness” take place at Dogtown Dance Theatre, 109 W. 15th Street and include performances by professional artists in a variety of dance and circus disciplines.

Caroline Calouche is the Founder and Executive Artistic Director for CC&Co. She is known for blending contemporary dance with aerial arts as well as merging ballet, partner acrobatics and contact improvisation to create her own style in floor partnering. She has created over 70 choreographic works for the professional stage.

Carolina Quirós Otárola who is an extremely versatile dancer and circus artist performing in her 5th show with CC&Co. She also has danced professionally with the National Dance Company of El Salvador and "Metamorfosis" directed by Sol Carballo Bolaños.

Ashley Carter who is currently on faculty at Ballet Academy East, and Ellison Ballet in New York, studios in Mexico and Spain; and has taught at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway in New York City, and master classes internationally. She has worked with Ricky Martin, NeYo, Nicki Minaj, and Mila Kunis.

Cornell Freeney is coming to CC&Co. from Las Vegas and has performed on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line with German Wheel on ice and his career also includes World Championships in Wheel Gymnastics (4 gold medals).
