    Independence Day Celebration & Super Blast Fireworks Nothing says July 4th in Richmond like fireworks at The Diamond. Enjoy post-game Super Blast fireworks following the game. Gates open  5:00 PM
  4. 4th Of July At Dogwood Dell - — The Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will be hosting a Fourth of July celebration at the Dogwood Dell.
    The free event will include performances, music, vendors and family activities.
    6 p.m. — The reading of the Declaration of Independence
    6:30 p.m. — A presentation of the Declaration of Independence at 6:30 p.m.
    7 p.m. — A performance by the Richmond Jazz Concert Band
    8 p.m. — Music by The Richmond Concert Band
    9 p.m. — Performance of “The 1812 Overture” featuring the concert band during the fireworks display
    9 p.m. — Fireworks
  5. Chesterfield County’s Fourth of July Celebration
    Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation is hosting a free Fourth of July Celebration with music, food, fireworks, and a kids zone.
    The KOS Band will be performing at 6:15 p.m.
    Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 4 at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds at 10300 Courthouse Rd. Fireworks begin at dark. All event traffic must enter on Krause Road.
  6. Red, White and Lights at Crump Park
    Henrico County is hosting its fourth of July celebration with fun for the whole family.
    There will be a kids zone, food trucks, and entertainment including performances by the Richmond Symphony, Soul Expressions and No BS! Brass Band. In lieu of fireworks, there will be a laser light show with the Symphony providing music for the show.
