It's That Time of Year Again!
Help Virginia Family Dentistry, FOX Richmond, and The Salvation Army create a brighter holiday season for area families by participating in the FOX Holiday Socks program. We need your help filling almost 5,000 stockings this year for area children in need.
What is FOX Holiday Socks?
FOX Holiday Socks is a longstanding program providing stockings for area children in need. Every child enrolled in the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance Program receives an age-appropriate FOX Holiday Sock. The Christmas Assistance program also includes the Angel Tree, Coats for Kids, and the Christmas Mother. All of these programs come together under one roof in mid-December!
How to Participate
There are two ways to participate this year:
1. Fill a FOX Holiday Sock in Person
Empty stockings will be available at all Virginia Family Dentistry locations during normal business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm), from Nov. 1 through Dec. 7.
Pick one up, fill it with age-appropriate toys, games, winter accessories, toiletries, or books and bring it back to us by Dec. 7. Click here to find a location near you.
After December 7th, Stockings will need to be returned directly to The Salvation Army's Christmas Center 9204 Stony Point Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23235.
2. Shop for FOX Holiday Socks through our online wish lists & our elves will do the work!
To make things as easy as possible this year we have compiled lists of items that make great stocking stuffers for each age group. We’ve partnered in this program for 21 years so you can trust that the items are thoughtful and useful!
You can shop from these lists and have the items shipped directly to us – just make sure you select the ‘Virginia Family Dentistry’ address that will appear during check-out.
Our volunteer elves will assemble the items into stockings prior to the Distribution Center opening and will keep track of their progress on Virginia Family Dentistry’s social media.
