Just like that, the new school year has arrived! Like many others, I’m starting to get ready for back-to-school shopping. With my kids heading into 5th, 8th, and 11th grades, we’ll need to buy not just school supplies but also items for extracurricular activities like music books and dance gear. This year’s estimated costs are a bit higher than before, so Virginia’s upcoming tax-free weekend could be a great way to save some money for our family.
