Families can now enjoy free admission to Henricus Historical Park year-round!
Henricus Historical Park brings 17th-century life to the present, showcasing the second successful English settlement in North America and the Virginia Indian site of Arrohateck. Perched on a bluff overlooking the James River, the site offers a rich history from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, with year-round events and programs.
The park operates Thursday - Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and closes on all Chesterfield County holidays.

🟠Last entrance into the historic site is at 4 p.m. to allow visitors ample time to tour.
🟠Field Trip Season is October through December and March through May; Henricus experiences high volumes of school field trips in the mornings, most days during the week.
🟠Henricus is self-guided; it often takes visitors between two to three hours to walk through.
🟠In the warmer months, make sure to pack bug spray, sunscreen, and water!
