About Henrico 4-H

Henrico 4-H believes in the potential of young people, recognizing that every child has unique strengths and the ability to make a positive impact. As part of the Virginia Cooperative Extension's youth development program, Henrico 4-H offers engaging learning experiences where young people collaborate with supportive adults and volunteers in a one-of-a-kind fellowship. Through hands-on activities that reflect 4-H's "learning by doing" approach, they connect youth with research-backed knowledge from Virginia Tech and Virginia State University. Their mission is to foster leadership, citizenship, and essential life skills.

Last year, Henrico County 4-H proudly served over 6,000 youth and had 175 dedicated youth and adult volunteers!
