Learn How to Play Inline Hockey in Hanover County

October 5, 2025

Learn to play hockey at Courthouse Park! This fun program for first-time players ages 5-10 is sponsored by the Richmond Roller Hockey League - RRHL and the Washington Capitals

The Learn to Play Inline program is an opportunity for youth ages 5-10 to try something new and learn inline hockey. Participants will receive everything they need to start their inline hockey journey including six (6) classes of age-appropriate instruction, coaching from Caps Youth Hockey staff and current inline hockey coaches, and a FREE set of protective gear (helmet, elbow pads, gloves, shin pads). Participants will borrow a pair of inline skates to use during their classes and have the option to return them after the session or purchase for a discounted price.

Hosted in collaboration with inline clubs who are members of the Capitals Inline Hockey League, you'll have a guaranteed next step opportunity to play!
