We’re bringing Hanukkah to Midlothian!
Kehillah, the independent-progressive Jewish community of Richmond and beyond, is once again offering an open and inclusive Hanukkah celebration. Kehillah continues to bring Jewish life to underserved areas of RVA, including the community in Midlothian, where Kehillah is the organized Jewish presence. “Midlothian continues to need that Jewish voice,” says Kehillah’s spiritual leader and co-founder, Rabbi Patrick Beaulier. “And we are honored to be that voice.”
“Midlothian continues to grow with Jewish couples, singles and families finding a home here. And we are honored to provide that Jewish home for anyone who wants it.”
Festivities will include a live menorah lighting, free Hanukkah gifts including judaica and Jewish books, Hanukkah donuts and festive beverages, dreidel games and prizes, a crafting station for kids, music and more. This is a casual, contemporary gathering: no Hebrew experience or membership required. Interfaith and family friendly. All are welcome! The event is free entry, but RSVP is required. Donations are encouraged to benefit Kehillah’s holiday programming.
