What to Expect
Photos with Santa: A professional photographer will capture free photos of your dog with Santa Claus. Families will receive their photos after the event, creating lasting holiday memories.
Pet-Friendly Shopping: Browse a curated selection of vendors offering treats, toys, and gifts for both pets and their humans. Perfect for holiday shopping with a local touch.
Food & Concessions: Concessions will be available for purchase, making it easy to grab a snack while enjoying the festivities.
Community Fun: The Henrico Humane Society will be on-site with merchandise and activities, plus the dog park area will be open for pups to play and socialize
Macaroni KID Richmond's Candy Cane Hunt
Bring the kids to Short Pump Park Playground from 10–11 a.m. for a fun-filled candy cane hunt! We’ll hide 1,000 candy canes throughout the playground, and children up to age 14 can collect up to 10 each. Hidden among them will be 9 green candy canes and 1 blue candy cane, all redeemable for special prizes. The green candy canes can be traded for goodies from Mathnasium of Short Pump, Snapology of Glen Allen, Kumon Richmond-Libbie, and The Wild Ones Play Cafe. The lucky finder of the blue candy cane will win a family pass to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Santa Spot!
No registration needed. Just show up and join the fun.
