April 28, 2026

Richmond‑area teens will have a rare opportunity this summer: the FBI Richmond Teen Academy is returning on July 8, 2026, offering students a full day inside the world of federal law enforcement. Hosted at the FBI Richmond Field Office on East Parham Road, this free program gives high schoolers a hands‑on, behind‑the‑scenes look at how the Bureau works to keep communities safe.

Designed for rising 9th–12th graders, the Teen Academy blends learning, leadership, and real investigative experiences. Students spend the day with Special Agents, Intelligence Analysts, and professional staff who walk them through the FBI’s mission, tools, and day‑to‑day operations. From evidence collection to counterterrorism strategy, participants get an up‑close look at the skills and teamwork behind major investigations.
