Want to spend an afternoon trying adaptive sports, making new friends, and being part of an awesome RVA event?
We’re looking for volunteers aged 12+ for our 3rd Annual RVA Adaptive Athletics Day on Sunday, August 30, from 2–4 PM at the Henrico Sports & Events Center.
Volunteers will be paired 1:1 with a child, teen, or adult with a disability and help them try out:
• Basketball
• Soccer
• Seated Volleyball
• Taekwondo
There will also be a sensory room, craft room, and refreshments.
No experience with adaptive sports is needed. Just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to have fun!
