At The James River Association summer camps, youth don’t just learn about the river—they explore it, paddle it, sketch it, fish it, and build real skills alongside experienced educators. This summer we’ll be providing day camps focused on paddling, fishing, biology, art, and more at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center in Richmond. Starting June 15 and running through August 7, we’ll be offering 4 and 5 day camps with half and full day options for ages 5-17, alongside overnight expeditions and leadership programs for high schoolers.
