The highly anticipated RVA Makerfest is making a triumphant return on November 2, 2024, from 10 AM to 5 PM at Deep Run High School. Presented by Blue Cheese Robotics and Build, RVA, The Build Forward Foundation this free, family-friendly event showcases the vibrant maker community of Richmond, Virginia and surrounding cities. RVA MakerFest 2024 will feature local makers, tinkerers, hobbyists, and entrepreneurs demonstrating their skills in robotics, science, art, technology, engineering, sustainability, food, music, and fashion. Attendees can expect hands-on activities, interactive workshops, and the opportunity to purchase handmade goods directly from creators. Highlights of the event include: • FIRST® Robotics demonstrations by award-winning FRC teams • Sustainable technology exhibits • Art installations, hands-on experiences and live demonstrations • Local food trucks
