5pm: Community Parade.
6:30-9pm: 7v7 Games.
On June 20, we will host our first-ever Juneteenth Jamboree, and you won’t want to miss it! Starting at 5 pm, we’ll kick off a community parade at Baker Elementary School and wrap up at Varina High School. The parade will feature around 50 incredible local businesses and organizations. But that’s not all! Following the parade, from 6:30-9pm, we’ll have an epic 7v7 football showdown announced by Shawn Mears. The competition will be between Henrico County’s very own high schools: Varina, Highland Springs, J.R. Tucker, Glen Allen, Deep Run, and Henrico! DJ Amare will be on the ones and twos, keeping the vibes going strong. Plus, we’ll have food trucks serving up delicious bites for you to enjoy. Please note: For the football showdown, HCPS Clear and Small Bag Procedures will be implemented and Individuals 17 and under must be accompanied by a chaperone over 21 (ID required).
