Description
On Saturday, June 21st at Dorey Park, we will commemorate the 160th anniversary of Juneteenth and the celebration of freedom. We will have a vendor fair featuring 160 local vendors, a kid zone with thrilling inflatables, a vibrant community stage showcasing local talent, and a variety of delicious food for purchase.
And that’s not all – this year’s musical theme is Go-Go music, a uniquely regional sound that’s deeply rooted in the African American community, symbolizing resilience and unity.
To kick things off, we’ve got the incredible Go-Go legends EU ft. Sugar Bear, plus the iconic Chuck Brown Band— with Chuck’s Brown’s son Wiley Brown leading the band in tribute to the Godfather of Go-Go.
As the grand finale, we’re thrilled to welcome back Art of Noise, featuring DJ Lonnie B., plus an epic fireworks show to light up the night. It’s going to be a high-energy, unforgettable experience! The entire Juneteenth Celebration is FREE to attend and open to the public. Come out, enjoy the fun, and celebrate with us!
