Richmond has seven outdoor pools and two indoor ones. All guests are required to sign-in when entering. Pools are open to both city and county residents free of charge.

Granite Recreation Corporation is a private pool and tennis club that offers a full size (25-meter) swimming pool with diving area; a children's wading pool; three hard service courts with pickleball lines/nets; a playground, and basketball area; and a recreation building. Cobblestones Water Park

Cobblestones Park is a beautiful water park located in Glen Allen, Virginia. We have one of the largest concrete swimming pools in Virginia. We are a locally owned family-friendly facility and have been here since the 1950s formerly known as Overhill Lake. The park rebranded to Cobblestones Splash Park in 2005 following renovations and updates to the facility.

During Regular Summer Season, the park will be open six days a week and closed Mondays, except for Memorial Day and Labor Day. Starting mid-August, the park will operate on weekends only and the season ends on Labor Day.

SwimRVA-North is an outdoor, public summer swimming pool in Richmond, VA and your families next “home away from home”. The Sternheimer Recreational Pool is open year-round. Kept at between 84 and 88 degrees (with a set point of 86 degrees), the Sternheimer Recreational Pool includes two waterslides, a lazy river, a sitting area with whirlpool-like jets, a mushroom waterfall, and lemon drop and wall sprays. Programming includes recreational play for all ages, instructional swim lessons, Aqua Zumba and shallow water fitness. Must become a member.

Carver Park Pool

The Carter Park Pool is an eight-lane junior Olympic-sized swimming pool (25 meters) adjacent to an open swim area with zero depth entry. The pool features multiple play elements like dumping buckets and a slide. There is also a separate kiddie pool for small children. The pool is open to Ashland residents and non-residents. Annual pool memberships are available for purchase at Town Hall, or a daily, per-person entry fee can be purchased at the gate. Financial assistance for pool memberships is available for qualified applicants (must be an Ashland resident).
