Hello Again everyone and thanks to those who reached out to congratulate me on my new writing gig for MacaroniKidRVA.

This weeks tip is using one of my favorites for iOS and was just using this morning with my kids to acknowledge information or even get their attention to text messages as we seem to sometimes always get nothing or an “Ok”.   iOS 10 introduced on your iDevices and even on macOS Sierra messages bubble effects or tap backs as they are called.  You also get some really cool screen effects on your iDevices only (Sorry no Macs - not sure why). Check out this great article via iMore @ http://www.imore.com/how-to-use-bubble-and-screen-effects-imessage-iphone-ipad.

My App of the Week is IFTTT (If This Then That).  https://ifttt.com/ - It’s been around while, works via their website or iOS and Android Apps and it’s free.  This is essentially one of the best productivity or workflow apps I’ve tried and kept using (kept is the key part).  For example, I’m an avoid Facebooker, Twitter, and LinkedIn user not only for personal but also for my real job during the day.  I’ve got for example one rule/recipe that allows me to create one Twitter Post and tag #in for LinkedIn and #fb for Facebook at the end of that post.  IFTTT then monitors all my accounts to find those tags and then grabs that Twitter post and posts it automagically to Linked and Facebook accordingly.   Their About Page on IFTTT’s site you can see the recipes as they call them are almost endless…  Have fun

Thanks and Check our my Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/usemytechRVA/ for tips, suggestions or some help if you need it.

Thanks

Todd
