Office hours & appointments
Our office is open Monday and Tuesday from 7:30am to 6pm, Wednesdays 7:30am to 6:30pm and Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5pm. Evening and Saturday hours are available by appointment. Patients are seen by appointment. In most circumstances, we can accommodate same-day appointments. Please contact us 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment.

Christine M. Privitera, MD, FAAPDr. Privitera received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her residency at the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Carolyn Washington-Alston, MD, FAAPDr. Washington-Alston received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk and completed her residency at the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Ann R. Vaughters, MD, FAAPDr. Vaughters attended Rice University for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Vaughters served in a general surgery internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition, Dr. Vaughters is on the Bon Secours Clinical Ethics Committee.
Anne Marie Tuohy, MDDr. Tuohy attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her pediatric residency from the University of Utah Department of Pediatrics. She brings over 14 years of pediatric experience, having practiced in both Minnesota and Georgia. Dr. Tuohy is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Joycelyn Sabino-Akins, MD, FAAP
Dr. Akins attended the University of the Philippines for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from the University of the East–Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and completed her pediatric residency from New York Medical College/Westchester County Medical Center. Dr. Akins is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Williams attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree. She received her medical degree from Howard University School of Medicine located in Washington, D.C., and completed her internship at the Medical College of Virginia – Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Bon Secours Medical Group, Dr. Williams was in private practice for 10 years.
Donna Conway, our nurse practitioner, received her Master of Science Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from the Medical College of Virginia - Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms. Conway is fully certified by the Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses. Prior to joining Bon Secours Medical Group, Donna practiced as a registered nurse for 31 years and as a nurse practitioner for 17 years.
Dr. Garabedian received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his residency in pediatrics at North Shore University Hospital and Cornell University Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Bon Secours Medical Group, Dr. Garabedian was in private practice in Southampton, New York, for 16 years.
