Annual Step Up for Down Syndrome 5K & Family Festival
October 8th
The Step Up for Down Syndrome 5K & Family Festival is a 5K run at & 1-mile advocacy walk . It is a great family event that celebrates all of the abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome in Greater Richmond and Central Virginia. 100% of all registration fees and donations are used to serve families in our service area. Live music by Route 64, FREE Family Entertainment, Fashion Show and Superstars Celebration, Sponsor and Exhibitor Displays & more.

Powhatan State Park Fall Festival
October 8th
Another annual Fall Festival at Powhatan State Park. There will be pumpkin decorating, campfire cooking, wagon rides, a field maze, face painting and games. There is also a photo opp for you with with Ranger Parker Redfox. Snacks and drinks will be for sale. There is a Parking fee. P If you want to do pumpkin decorating, you can for $3 per pumpkin, plus wagon rides are $4 per person or $10 for the whole family.

Harvest Festival at Meadow Farm

Come to Meadow Farm for the harvest and fun with the whole family. A Farmer’s Market and explore hands-on activities and demonstrations that bring fall to the forefront. Candle dipping, apple pressing, tractor rides, and living history exhibits are to name a few. Enjoy live musical entertainment by the Barbara Martin Trio and the Knuckle Dusters! Central VA Celtic Festival & Highland Games
