Holiday Tree Lightings & Santa Arrivals & More

Jefferson Hotel - Tree Lighting , Monday, November 28, 2016
festivities begin at 5:00pm with holiday musical performances. The Tree Lighting ceremony begins at 5:45pm and includes a host of holiday characters. The ceremony concludes with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus for the lighting of the tree. This event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to the Empire Ballroom following the ceremony to enjoy complimentary refreshments.
Short Pump Town Center Join us for our annual Santa's Arrival Parade and Grand Illumination of Short Pump Town Center's 60ft. holiday tree and giant 22ft. reindeer! Santa will arrive in style along with many other friends and fan favorites during our holiday parade! Get there early, magic wands will be distributed starting at 5:30PM near Nordstrom.

Chesterfield Town CenterAdventure to Santa, a DreamWorks DreamPlace, magically combines the time-honored tradition of meeting Santa Claus with technological wizardry to deliver a very special and immersive holiday experience. This season, the all-new attraction lets you and your family join Po and friends for interactive games and an immersive, cinematic journey that transports guests to the North Pole for your private meeting with Santa. Join us in the food court on November 3rd as we light the tree with the magic of the holiday spirit. Special appearance by the big man himself, Santa!
Stony Point -  NOV 12 CommunityTree Lighting
Join us for our annual Community Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 12th from 5 to 7 pm.  Enjoy live music from the Kings of Swing, giveaways for kids 10 & under, characters from Richmond Ballet's The Nutcracker, complimentary holiday balloon creations and strolling Dickens themed carolers. Snow will fall as we lite the 42’ tall animated tree!Visit Santa during his inaugural season at Stony Point and capture that special moment with your child!  Santa will be located across from the Ice Skating Rink and next to GO! Calendars.

Dominion Christmas Parade - 
The 33rd annual Dominion Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Richmond, Virginia. This year's theme is "Christmas at the Movies," so be prepared to be starstruck! The parade will depart from the Science Museum on W. Broad Street and continue east to 7th Street. This beloved Richmond tradition attracts more than 100,000 spectators each year from everywhere in Virginia, with thousands more enjoying the live television broadcast.

Start your holiday season with some hometown merriment. Parade starts at Thompson Street & S. James Street. Ends at John Gandy Elementary School. Organized by the Ashland Kiwanis Club.

lluminate Light Show & Santa’s Village

It’s at The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, Va. Check out our Map & Directions page for detailed information. The Light Show entrance is GATE 1 on the right hand side of Rt. 30 if you are heading East.  Look for the tall green lit Christmas tree!

Bethlehem Walk
Bethlehem Walk will return again beginning Wednesday, November 30, 2016. The interactive outdoor drama where guests experience first century Bethlehem continues through Sunday, December 4th. 

18TH ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING

Free and fun for the whole family! In partnership with the County of Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks, The Center welcomes you to this beloved holiday event featuring magical holiday music performances, hot chocolate and cookies, a toasty bonfire, and of course a special visit from Santa to light our 60-foot cedar Christmas tree at The Center’s entrance

Sail into the season with the lighted boat parade sponsored by the James River Advisory Council in cooperation with Henrico Recreation and Parks. Join us around the bonfire as we enjoy holiday music and activities. The Toy Parade sponsored by the Battlefield Ruritans will precede the boat parade at 3 pm. Entertainment and concessions will follow the Toy Parade.
