CommuniKids Mandarin and Spanish Language Immersion School for Young Children is located in the fabulous Short Pump area of Richmond. Our bright and friendly center offers large classrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor play spaces. We offer Preschool, AfterSchool Programs and Summer Camp with hours to accommodate busy parents schedules.
The play-based curriculum enables your child to learn a second language in a fun, exciting environment. The native speaking teachers engage your children and take them on a journey building on vocabulary from one unit to another.
Our mission at CommuniKids is to prepare young children to become the global citizens of tomorrow by creating a joyful, playful, and nurturing environment that immerses students in a second language. Our program strives to instill the disposition, knowledge, and skills required to succeed in a highly interconnected world.
Children are little language sponges from about the age of 6 months until about the age of 10. The more you send their way, the more they absorb. If you want them to absorb more, it makes sense to send as much their way as soon as possible.
The research shows that the brains of bilingual people have better executive function, which is what allows you to focus on problem solving, moving between tasks, and recalling words and information. All are keys to being successful in life.
