Touch a Truck
Climb. Explore. Learn. Touch! The Junior League of Richmond proudly announces the 12th Annual Touch a Truck. The event rolls into Richmond on October 7, 2017, at the Richmond International Raceway from 10 AM to 3 PM. Tickets may be purchased online or at the gate. We’re excited to offer birthday party packages this year too! This is a rain or shine event.
Touch a Truck has quickly become a tradition for many metro-Richmond families with over 4,500 attendees last year. The event provides a unique opportunity for children to explore vehicles of all types including public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and just plain cool—all in one place! Children will be allowed to touch their favorite vehicles, get behind the wheel, and meet the people who help build, protect, and serve our community. Crafts, games, and food trucks will also be part of the day’s entertainment.
Enjoy a fun family event while supporting the Junior League of Richmond as it strives to raise funds to further their mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Proceeds from Touch a Truck ensure the League is able to continue programs addressing the critical needs of Richmond—childhood nutrition, literacy, and family stability.
