There are many free books to choose from and there's something for everyone, visit Barnes and Noble, and look at the summer reading program to select the age range that fits.
1. Fill out the Summer Reading Journal (PDF).
2. Bring the completed and signed reading journal into your local Barnes and Noble bookstore between August 1, 2019, and August 31, 2019. Present it to an employee and they will let your child choose a book from the free book list.

Scholastic is offering a summer reading challenge where kids can read and then go online to record the minutes they've read this summer. They'll also be able to take weekly challenges to earn rewards.

Another fun one! Pottery Barn Kids Summer Reading Challenge at Pottery Barn Kids and present it to an employee to receive your free book.
Check with your local Pottery Barn Kids to find out which books are available and see what other Free Fun is happening this summer. Some things are character appearances, healthy snacks from Happy Family, and activities and giveaways from PBS Kids.

Chuck E. Cheese has a summer reading program where kids can earn free 10 Chuck E. Cheese tokens for reading each day for 2 weeks. The site has lots of printables too
