Simple Cooking With Smithfield

An Easy Dinner For Your Family!

September 5, 2019

We've partnered with Smithfield to show how easy, fun and delicious dinner can be - even on some of your busiest days!

Smithfield, founded in 1936 and based in Virginia, is more than just the delicious hams we have all come to love. Smithfield makes many packaged, marinated pork meals that allow for flavorful and easy dinners.

We made one this week and am sharing the recipe and some pictures with you here.

I love simple meals and this being marinated, takes one more step away! Recipe for how I prepared and the salad we made are the bottom of this article.

I chose the Roasted Garlic and Peppercorn Marinated Pork Tenderloin. Delicious flavor and not too spicy that my kids wouldn't eat it.

I seared It in a cast iron pan first to get a crispier crust on it, it is not necessary , but the beauty of a cast iron pan is that it goes from stove to oven. You do not have to do anything more than spray the pan and get it going. If you want to add some vegetables or potatoes to the pan, you can. It is a great meal for family, friends and allows you to enjoy the ones you ar with instead of being stuck in the kitchen!

Full recipe and instructions below pictures
