Model Railroad Show at Science Museum of Virginia
We can’t wait to see you at the 44th Annual Model Railroad Show presented by Dominion Energy. This Virginia holiday tradition is a great time to make memories with family and friends while discovering that science is everywhere – even in model trains!
The Museum is offering timed entry to the Model Railroad Show to help moderate the flow of guests throughout the weekend. It is strongly recommended that you reserve your entry time in advance! Select the day you’d like to visit and an entry time below. This will be the time you will enter the Model Railroad Show. We ask that guests be prompt for their entry time so we can manage flow through the event. Feel free to arrive at the Museum any time before your scheduled Model Railroad Show entry time. The Museum opens at 9:30 a.m. for the general public.
If you are a Museum member looking to attend during the member-only hours of 8:30 - 9:30 a.m., go back to the main ticketing page and select the member-only, early access option. Be sure you are logged in or that option will not be available.
Please note: if you have not received a COVID-19 vaccine, a mask is required while inside the Museum, regardless of age. Even if you have received a COVID-19 vaccine, a mask is strongly recommended. Before arriving at the Museum, guests are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Museum operating procedures.
