1. Pocahontas State Park:

Located just outside of Richmond, Pocahontas State Park offers a variety of trails suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Beaver Lake Trail is a perfect choice for a daddy-daughter hike. This 2.3-mile loop trail takes you through a scenic forest, past tranquil lakes, and offers opportunities for wildlife sightings. 3. Deep Run Park and Recreation Center:
