From a tuberculous hospital in the early 1900’s to a thriving recreation center, Pine Camp Arts and Community Center has a long, and rich history. As a division of Richmond City’s Parks, Recreation, and Community Facilities, Pine Camp has become an artistic home for the children, families, and adults of Richmond and the surrounding areas. Here, the community can come together to study theater, visual art, pottery, weaving, dance, music, nature conservation, and more.
Spring Semester classes at Pine Camp Cultural Arts Center are open for registration! Offering classes in dance, visual arts, theater, music, fiber arts, pottery, and more for all ages, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’ve been studying your craft for years, or you’re a beginner wanting to pick up a new hobby, there is a class for you!
We offer classes for creative minds ages 4 through adult. Spring Semester costs $150, begins January 21st and runs through the beginning of May (that’s like… $10 a class!).
If you’ve been looking for an inclusive and welcoming environment to try your hand at a passion you’ve always wanted to explore – then come join us at Pine Camp – we can’t wait to see what we can make together.
Pine Camp Cultural Arts center is located on the Northside of Richmond at 4901 Old Brook Road. However, if you’re looking for some creative classes on the Southside of town, we also offer classes at Hickory Hill Community Center located at 3000 East Belt Blvd.
