With 80 musicians, over 100 exhibitors, one of the largest kids areas of any festival on the east coast and all of the great Carytown style, the Carytown Watermelon Festival has become the largest one day festival in the state of Virginia. Experience great live music on multiple stages throughout the festival, delicious food from local vendors, shopping and tons of watermelon! It's a Richmond tradition that is celebrating its 39th year!

Parking for the Carytown Watermelon Festival is located at City Stadium and on side streets surrounding Carytown. You can also look for parking decks located within the area. Please be aware of NO PARKING SIGNS in the area and DO NOT PARK in the Kroger Parking lot located near the entrance of Carytown. Towing will be enforced.
