Free Screening of a NOVA Documentary - "Ocean Invaders" at Maymont

On Wednesday, June 14, Maymont hosts a free screening of a NOVA documentary, Ocean Invaders, about the lionfish, a striking-looking invasive species that has become a top predator along the southern Atlantic states in a matter of a few decades. Special guests from the Richmond-based film company, Orange Frame Productions, will lead a Q&A after the screening. Doors open at 5 pm and the screening begins at 6:30 pm. (Note: The March screening of My Octopus Teacher was completely booked, so advance reservations or early arrival are recommended)

The screening is free, but admission to The Robins Nature Center before 6:30pm is $8 for adults, $6 for children age 12 & under, free for Maymont members and Museum for All* participants.
