Description
Come learn about the history of the cello and listen to some music. Participants will learn how the cello is constructed, what materials are used, and how it makes sound. The presenter also will discuss how the cello evolved over the centuries and will play classical music examples from the Renaissance to 20th-century eras. Christmas, Hannukah, and popular music will be played, all on solo cello. Participants are encouraged to bring questions about the cello.

Suitable for all ages, but recommended for ages 10 and up.
